The new 2015 Ford F-150 is the toughest, smartest and most capable F-150 ever, and it’s also the only light-duty truck with an available snow plow prep kit for every cab – Regular, SuperCab and SuperCrew.
Using more high-strength steel in the frame and high-strength, military-grade, aluminum alloy in the body helped make the new F-150 as much as 700 pounds lighter. This leads to improved capability, performance and better handling, which is important for customers who need to plow snow. The new snow plow prep option is available as a $50 option (plow not included) on the 2015 F-150 with the 5.0-liter V8 engine.
F-Series trucks offer customers the widest range of plow weights to keep driveways, highways and parking lots clear of snow.
